Requirements
- Experience managing and supporting live systems in a production environment
- Programming experience in relevant technologies such as Java, .Net/C#, JS, SQL, React
- Strong understanding of incident management, monitoring tools, and automation processes
- Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices
- Experience with multiple cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
- Familiarity with DevOps practices including CICD Pipelines, containerization, and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog and Splunk
- Skills in automation tools and scripting such as Python / JS
Day to day
- Overseeing the continuous monitoring and production support of live systems
- Resolving customer bugs and implementing enhancements for existing products
- Leading a team of SREs and Software Engineers focusing on development support, bug fixes, and customer requests
