Role


Who you are

  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge on current emerging and future technology market trends
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Audit technology ecosystem
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Enterprise Digital Workplace technology ecosystem
  • Provide advice to and/or seek to learn from other Member Firms client teams and/or clients on specific technologies
  • Ensure that Audit and Enterprise digital workplace roadmaps are aligned to the relevant business strategy and other technology domain roadmaps
  • Analyze and translate business requirements into technical requirements in collaboration with Capability CTOs technical SMEs and specific projects
  • Ensure Solution Architects produce designs that adhere to relevant standards and patterns and are coherent with wider KPMG technology domains
  • Contribute to the selection of specific technologies
  • Support the design and implementation of operating models that improve technology deployments
  • Establish and participate in the technology assurance process building reference models and ensuring standards patterns and reusable components are enforced
  • Ensure that legacy technology is decommissioned to manage and reduce technical debt
  • Qualified in ITIL and TOGAF
  • Demonstrable experience in Enterprise and Solution Architecture roles
  • Understanding of architectural risks and remedial actions
  • Experience working with Agile SDLC methods
  • Able to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience

Desirables

  • Experience of leading offshore teams
  • Practical understanding of GDPR
  • Practical understanding of ISO 27001
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Align the firm's business strategy with its technology strategy within client facing services and enterprise-wide technology domains
  • Translate business strategies into equivalent technology strategies
  • Challenge business strategies based on emerging and future technology trends
  • Help business design and govern their technology roadmap
  • Escalate risks issues and critical dependencies to appropriate leaders
