Remote Enterprise Architect - Senior Manager Job in Washington, DC Cognizant

Who you are

• 15+ years of DevOps experience with infrastructure-as-code and software/application development
• 5+ years expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCE, OpenStack, VMWare) and Linux/Windows systems
• Experience building CI/CD Pipelines
• Knowledge of configuration management (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt) and provisioning tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with AWS, Docker containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Mesosphere, OpenShift)
• Experience mentoring/coaching teams and communicating across organizations
• Client-facing role experience, managing teams and engagement outcomes
• Deep understanding of DevOps and Agile methods
• Automating traditional processes with scripting/configuration management
• Ability to diagnose technical problems, debug code, and automate tasks
• Consulting experience preferred
• Must work effectively in a team-oriented collaborative environment

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and partners, and act as a trusted advisor and thought leader on enterprise architecture matters.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Lead or participate in the design, development, and deployment of applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
