What the job involves
As an Enterprise Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for formulating and leading presales technical and functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. You'll act as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants, focusing on large or complex sales opportunities that require creative and complex solutions. This role involves developing productivity tools and training for Sales Consultants, delivering outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations, advising on overall architect solutions, and conducting technical discovery sessions with clients.
You will design and propose cloud-based solutions tailored to clients' needs, leveraging your deep technical expertise and excellent communication skills to influence and guide customers on their cloud journey. You'll present and demonstrate Oracle cloud solutions to customers, creating and delivering technical proposals, presentations, and solution documentation. Additionally, you'll lead cross-functional teams to help customers design, plan, implement, and govern enterprise cloud architecture and solutions on time.
You will stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights to the sales team and customers. Your role involves collaborating with the sales team to understand customer requirements, proposing suitable Oracle cloud solutions, conducting proof of concepts (POCs) and pilot projects, and ensuring customer satisfaction at all stages. Furthermore, you'll work closely with Oracle product management and engineering teams to stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and Oracle cloud solution features, providing technical guidance and support to customers during the sales cycle.
