Who you are

  • Hold current National Security Vetting aligned to a UK National Security organisation
  • Senior technical leader with ability to communicate and manage relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Proven experience in shaping and delivering technology-enabled change that provides value security agility and efficiency
  • Developed enterprise-level technology strategies and contributed to the definition of associated programs of work
  • Experience in delivering large-scale architectural solutions in cloud or hybrid environments and integrating cloud platforms into the wider enterprise
  • Strong knowledge of traditional platform delivery approaches technologies and operating models including major cloud platforms GCP Azure and AWS
  • Thorough appreciation of the capabilities of major cloud platforms (GCP Azure AWS)
  • Understanding of importance of both enterprise MI for long-term decision-making and (near) real-time observability for operations
  • Ability to manage technical reviews and assessments of cloud strategy roadmaps cloud data models cloud integration and cloud migration tools
  • Recognized industry qualifications appropriate to the role and seniority
  • Passionate about technology thriving in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Highly credible in front of both clients and colleagues
  • Acts as a source of support for customers throughout the transformation journey

What the job involves

  • Provide highly credible and informative thought leadership based on real life experience
  • Design and build cloud/technology roadmaps implementation strategies transformation plans and high-level architecture
  • Provide impartial assessment of cloud strategy and vendor technology proposals
  • Provide broad and detailed insight across a range of technology areas including integration and hybrid hosting scenarios
  • Contribute to the development of vibrant and profitable Cloud and Defence Consulting practices
  • Work with colleagues to maximise the use of our knowledge and experience
  • Share knowledge - coaching and advising colleagues
  • Develop strong client relationships with client stakeholders to understand their business problems and identify commercial opportunities for KPMG
