Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience in Java support software services and system administration
  • Experience with operating systems (Linux OS X Windows)
  • Subject Matter Expert in multiple Atlassian products
  • Identify knowledge opportunities with new technologies, multiply knowledge within team (Synchrony AWS Azure)
  • Communicate as internal expert with customers at executive level on in-depth technical details progress and next steps
  • Solve complex tickets summarise cause recommend solutions and escalate
  • Be the customer champion by being the voice of the customer
  • Assist global teammates in resolving long-running tickets
  • Experience with networks and technologies (proxies load balancers LDAP Active Directory SSL)
  • Understanding of application server technologies (Tomcat Apache WebSphere J Boss)
  • Experience with SQL databases
  • Experience in escalation handling
  • Experience working with enterprise customers



What the job involves

  • Provide advanced support and product expertise to largest customers by performing root cause analysis, debugging and troubleshooting
  • Participate in customer-facing calls communicating progress updates, action plans, and resolution details
  • Improve support capabilities, capacity, and quality for largest customers and work with team members globally
