Requirements
- Have a strong interest in Data Engineering and a desire to learn new technologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with SQL database concepts Git GitHub and code review process fundamentals.
- Experience in Python and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across development activities including design testing and maintenance.
- A B.S. in Computer Science Math or a similar technical field or equivalent industry experience or internship.
- Willingness to support the team and data environment by periodically being on call.
Nice to have
- Experience with Snowflake and Postgres
- Knowledge of AWS Docker and Kubernetes
- Skilled in Apache Airflow and Go/gRPC
- Understanding of ad-tech terms and methodologies
- Proficient in building ETL/ELT pipelines on big data platforms
Day to day
- Collaborate with a diverse group of engineers to solve complex data-oriented problems creatively.
- Develop and enhance product features using ETL (Python + SQL) ETL Pipeline (Airflow) and API (Go).
- Engage in the full lifecycle of Advertising Tech products from requirements gathering to maintenance.
- Deliver high impact and high value as an individual contributor within the Measurement Engineering team.
