Remote External Automotive Claims Engineer Job in UK Direct Line Group

Who you are

• Previous work in Automotive industry as Motor Insurance Engineer or Vehicle Damage Assessor.
• Minimum of NVQ3 in Automotive Repair or similar.
• ATA VDA qualifications desirable.
• Good understanding of Thatcham Escribe, Audatex software.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and motor insurance claims processes.

What the job involves

• Provide inspection service and technical support to claims functions, inspecting vehicles within agreed timeframes.
• Responsible for delivery of financial performance, meeting business and customer expectations.
• Ensure customer experience is at the heart, treating customers fairly.
• Utilize judgement to deliver excellent customer performance in line with company values and strategy.
• Manage AD spend and identify, own, and manage risks involved in running the business.
• Collaborate with colleagues and wider business to drive correct outcomes for customers.
• Continuously develop to maximise potential in the role.
