Requirements
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes including lithography, etching, deposition, and metrology
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab, or MATLAB
- Familiarity with SPC, DOE (Design of Experiments), and root cause analysis techniques
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
Nice to have
- Experience with advanced node technologies (e.g., 5nm, 7nm) and process scaling challenges
- Familiarity with process control methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing
- Hands-on experience in failure analysis and defect detection tools such as SEM or FIB
Day to day
- Develop and optimize fabrication processes, including lithography, etching, deposition, ion implantation, and chemical-mechanical polishing (CMP), to achieve desired device performance
- Operate and maintain advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment such as photolithography systems and plasma etchers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transfer new processes and technologies from development to production
