Remote Field Engineer Job in Camberley, UK Alfa Laval

Who you are

• Practical experience working on heat transfer equipment
• Ability to build and develop customer relationships
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to work activities
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background
• Competent in testing electronic equipment fault finding and reading schematic diagrams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational and planning abilities
• Physically fit with the ability for several nights away from home
• Full driving licence required
• Experience in industries like wastewater food and brewery power stations marine or military is advantageous

Desirables

• Exposure to Alfa Laval core equipment
• Technical training such as City and Guilds or NVQ
• Experience with PLC's
• Curiosity about technology and applications

What the job involves

• Support customers by carrying out servicing and maintenance of Alfa Laval equipment and associated products
• Provide field service support for heat exchange products
• Conduct preventive maintenance emergency and warranty repairs
• Train customer personnel on equipment maintenance
• Execute installation supervision and commissioning of new equipment
• Provide process troubleshooting and technical support
• Embed sales activities to develop new customers and support product growth
