What the job involves

The main requirements, responsibilities and hiring steps.

Day to day

Supporting the installation service and refurbishment of submersible and surface mounted pumping equipment wastewater treatment plants and all associated components including control systems valves and pipework.
Analyzing control equipment both electrical and physical.
Isolating dismantling and inspecting pumping equipment including moving parts and lubricants.
Examining and reporting any defects with regards to valves and pipework.
Reporting any abnormalities.
Supplying details measurements and full descriptions of any components that require replacement.
Installing and commissioning supplied equipment and all associated apparatus.
Working as part of a team where health and safety demands.
Conducting planned and reactive service visits promptly.
Lifting access covers pumping equipment and all associated components from ground level to an approximate depth of 10m using appropriate tools supplied.
Working in an outdoor environment in different weather conditions on a daily basis.
