Remote Field Service Engineer Job in West Midlands, UK Atlas Copco

Who you are

• Experience in mechanical or electrical service
• Mechanical or electrical qualifications or experience-based equivalents
• Valid driving license
• Proficient in using computer systems and learning new software
• Position of responsibility in an FGAS authorized organization
• Refrigeration & Thermal Systems background
• Essential understanding of the operation of pumps and heat exchangers

What the job involves

• You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of industrial cooling systems and associated components like pumps, inverters, tanks, and controllers. You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on process equipment at customer sites. Document and report all service activities using company-provided tools and software.
• You will troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to chiller performance, identify root causes, and implement solutions. Conduct installation, commissioning, and start-up of new equipment. Represent Atlas Copco and Eurochiller Brands professionally. Maintain detailed records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and customer interactions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on customer premises and promote safe practices. Stay updated on process chiller technology, including refrigeration systems, controls, and automation.
