Requirements

  • Hold NVQ or higher in Mechanical Electrical or Chemical Engineering or similar or proven experience
  • Possess a full UK driving license
  • Experience as a Service Engineer Test Engineer or in a field-based technical support role
  • Working knowledge of electrical/mechanical equipment
  • Advantageous experience with reverse-osmosis water systems and/or biosafety airflow cabinets
  • Good organizational skills attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload
  • Provide first-class customer service
  • Professional and diligent approach to work and communication
  • Work well both in a team and independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent in IT knowledge of PLC controls and Business CRMs

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Healthcare and Scientific market
  • Spoken French
  • Spoken German

Day to day

  • Give our clients quality service focused on healthcare and scientific research markets
  • Support installation and maintenance of biosafety airflow cabinets
  • Learn to support various laboratory equipment
  • Work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
  • Provide out-of-hours cover and rapid response on a rotational basis
  • Travel across South East and East Anglia regions and occasionally beyond
