Who you are

• College degree or equivalent experience in accounting
• Prior employment at an insurance or reinsurance company a plus
• SAP (FSCD) experience a plus
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to details
• Good customer service/client relations skills
• Solid organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Work independently combined with timely and effective communication with stakeholders
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and projects to completion

What the job involves

• Reviewing daily bank statements and allocating cash to the proper business unit
• Balancing with Treasury to ensure all cash received has been assigned and applied in the systems
• Daily maintenance of various cash logs in Excel and operating systems
• Preparing and distributing client billing monthly
• Responding and reacting to client inquiries and requests
• Reconciling client statements
• Cash collection and application for assigned clients
• Managing receivables and suspense for assigned clients
