Who you are
- At least 1+ year working in a UK accounting practice in an administrative role, with proficiency in Xero, bookkeeping, and payroll processes.
- Strong GCSE grades in Mathematics and English (A-B / 7-9) and educated to degree level in accounting or finance degree.
- Excellent organisational skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook is essential.
- Ability to manage competing demands in a remote work environment, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and balancing work with ongoing professional development.
What the job involves
- You will manage day-to-day financial administration for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- You will assist in the preparation of quarterly VAT returns and manage monthly payroll for clients.
- Support the Management Accountant with month-end and year-end reporting.
- Facilitate supplier payment runs and provide daily financial support to clients.
