Who you are

• 2+ years of combined experience in strategic finance, investment banking, management consulting, or comparable experience (background in FinTech)
• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field like finance or economics
• Experience engaging with team members of all levels
• Expert modelling skills (with Excel or Google Sheets) and familiarity with SQL

What the job involves

• Be an expert and finance lead to important decision-makers across the company to help build strategic initiatives and special projects
• Lead high visibility projects requiring cross-functional and analytical support
• Identify issues, develop hypotheses, and implement in-depth analysis to translate data into relevant insights
• Make recommendations to important decision-makers and the executive team
• Support annual planning and quarterly forecasts for cross-functional teams, evaluating organisational tradeoffs
• Prepare analyses and materials to communicate performance and trends to the UK SLT and Cash App Leadership
• Complete ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decision-making and inform investment allocation
• Work collaboratively with the broader Finance & Strategy team and other departments to deliver continuous improvement in processes and ways of working
