Requirements

  • Proven track record in a Management Accountant role
  • Ability to see the big picture and sense check for errors or problems
  • Curiosity to understand client's business and provide insight
  • Confident communicator with clients and colleagues
  • Strong customer service focus with ability to maintain and develop client relationships
  • High level of IT literacy with ability to pick up new ERP systems quickly
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills including lookups and pivot tables
  • Experience updating large reporting packs
  • Some experience with macros
  • ACCA/CIMA qualified

Day to day

  • Support the business with developing client relationships and providing accounting activities and insight.
  • Be the first point of contact for clients.
  • Coordinate effectively with team members to ensure schedules are updated and accurate.
  • Provide meaningful commentary on reports and identify variances, trends, and areas requiring client attention.
  • Simplify current financial processes and procedures.
  • Review and submit VAT returns and liaise with auditors and statutory accountants for year-end accounts and tax.
