Requirements
- Qualified accountant ACA ACCA or CIMA or exceptionally qualified by experience
- Background in logistics distribution or foodservice ideally FMCG or parcels
- Experience in a closed-book operational environment
- Track record of building business cases
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills Power BI desirable
- High commercial awareness and comfort with fast-paced change
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to simplify processes
- Ability to travel to sites and work independently

Day to day
- Partner with the Operations Director and senior operational team to provide insight and constructive challenge that improves performance across multiple distribution sites.
- Own weekly and monthly operational reporting KPI analysis and commentary translating management accounts into site level insight.
- Support rolling forecasts quarterly reforecasts annual budgets capital business cases margin models and commercial reviews while helping integrate newly acquired sites.
