    What the job involves

    • Provides timely convincing relevant and technically sound financial analysis and recommendations to assist in evaluating corporate performance and support decision making
    • Supports the FP&A team and operational divisions through financial analysis management reporting strategic planning budgeting and special projects
    • Works independently with the division they support representing the Finance Department as a subject matter expert
    • Compiles data identifies trends and recommends conclusions for ad-hoc financial analysis
    • Assists in annual budgeting and strategic planning processes
    • Assists in month-end financial close including accruals reconciliations and flux analysis
    • Works with department managers to identify best practices for expense tracking and metric measurement
    • Compiles reporting for departments explaining P&L variances and solicits feedback for forecasting
    • Creates financial models and analyses to assist in evaluating projects programs and product offerings
    • Produces budget justification analysis for Leadership Team to review operating budget
    • Assists in producing regular co-op reporting including Board Packets Business Reviews and key operational dashboards
    • Quantifies financial impact of strategic objectives for inclusion in multi-year strategic plan
    • Interacts with auditors providing data and process flow explanations
