Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline
• Professional experience in finance cost control or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction
• Experience in estimating tasks and processes
• Capable of obtaining secret clearance
• Experienced professional with 3 years of professional experience or 1 year with a Master's degree

What the job involves

• Support the Applied Research area focusing on cost control responsibilities
• Manage financial performance of various R&D contracts from award through closeout
• Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly financial status reports
• Prepare contract budgets and Estimates at Completion (EACs)
• Monitor and analyze contract funding status and perform any required performance variance analysis
• Prepare quarterly CSR data and charts including projections of orders sales profit and cash. Assist in the preparation of the annual Long Range Plan
• Coordinate with Contracts employees to facilitate contract awards and necessary contract modifications
