Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance
  • 1 year of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis communicating to non-finance leadership
  • Must have a high integrity work ethic and be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with other departments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt or pivot quickly
  • Skilled at researching variance drivers and effectively communicating results
  • Strong planning organizing and problem-solving skills team-player
  • Proven time management skills with ability to meet or beat deadlines
  • Familiar with MS Excel formatting techniques filtering
  • Preferred non-profit experience

Day to day

  • Collaborates with department leaders
  • Transforms data & organizes information
  • Updates monthly forecast
  • Creates & distributes expense variance summaries
  • Assists with evaluating headcount & expense requests
  • Analyzes vendors & invoices to make projections
  • Works closely with accounting department providing general ledger coding as needed
  • Reviews general ledger and identifies needs for expense reclassification
  • Develops the annual budget
  • Prepares & delivers financial presentations
  • Provides ad hoc analysis as needed
