Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience in financial management including donor compliance
- Significant experience in coordinating external audits
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems
Desirables
- CPA
- Master's in Accounting
- Experience in NGO or nonprofit sector
What the job involves
- Oversee all financial operations and ensure integrity in financial reporting
- Manage and mentor the finance team for effective operations and strategic goals
- Coordinate and manage external audits and uphold regulatory compliance
- Lead the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Work closely with non-finance staff to educate and integrate finance procedures into program operations
