Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
  • Experience in financial management including donor compliance
  • Significant experience in coordinating external audits
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems

Nice to have

  • CPA
  • Master's in Accounting
  • Experience in NGO or nonprofit sector

Day to day

  • Oversee all financial operations and ensure integrity in financial reporting
  • Manage and mentor the finance team for effective operations and strategic goals
  • Coordinate and manage external audits and uphold regulatory compliance
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Work closely with non-finance staff to educate and integrate finance procedures into program operations
