Requirements
- Qualified ACCA / ACA
- Minimum 5 years Post Qualified Experience as Financial Controller
- Knowledge of current tax and audit regimes
- 3+ Years logistics industry experience in senior accounting position
- Proven team management and motivation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Meticulous eye for detail
- Preferably experienced with Cargowise ERP system
Day to day
- Achieve financial goals per business plan. Manage personnel and company financial goals. Maintain statutory records legally.
- Oversee financial accounting and bookkeeping. Manage credit control per policy. Optimize cash flow via debt collection and supplier payment.
- Handle treasury and foreign currency management. Reconcile purchase reserves monthly. Evaluate gross trading profit through cost accruals and prepayments.
- Allocate costs monthly, ensure billing accuracy. Complete job closures as scheduled.
- Generate monthly cash flow projection, consolidated balance sheet, business expense claims, VAT returns, and annual tax returns.
- Maintain fixed asset register, assist in year-end financial statements. Control working capital, manage banking relationships, aid in forecasts and budgets.
- Provide statutory returns, associated schedules as per Company Secretary responsibilities.
