Who you are

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and analytical skills
  • Knowledge and experience with commercial credit analysis and management, ideally in the energy sector
  • In-depth experience with financial planning, financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Understanding of interactions between systems and business processes
  • Experience in developing financial systems for an energy-related market participant
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of financial, credit, and/or data analysis and modeling experience
  • Experience with California electricity or related energy markets

  • Aptitude to manage direct report



What the job involves

  • Manage agency budgeting, financial planning, and analysis
  • Supervise a Financial Analyst and collaborate with senior management
