Remote Fire & Security Engineer Job in Cheltenham, UK G4S

Who you are

• Possesses previous electrical or mechanical experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience in installing and servicing access control CCTV and intruder alarm systems
• Experience with fire alarm systems preferably GENT-based
• Holds an IT or Electrical/Electronic qualification
• Broad technical IT knowledge including Windows OS and networking
• Knowledge of basic electrical principles like voltage and current measurement
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to adhere to procedures

What the job involves

• Attend to maintenance calls on-site and via telephone
• Rectify faults during the first visit when possible
• Execute a rolling program of preventative maintenance visits
• Record and collect site configuration information
• Maintain accurate and timely records
• Provide out-of-hours cover on a rotating basis
• Commission small projects as needed
• Perform quality procedure audits
• Provide training to customers and team members
• Undertake additional tasks as required
