Remote Fire & Security Engineer Job in Cheltenham, UK G4S

Who you are

• Previous electrical mechanical experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with access control, CCTV, intruder alarms
• Experience with fire alarm systems, ideally GENT based
• IT or Electrical/Electronic qualification
• Broad technical IT knowledge, Windows OS and networking
• Knowledge of basic electrical principles
• Good attention to detail for paperwork and procedures
• Enthusiastic team player
• Ability to work under pressure professionally

What the job involves

• Attend to maintenance calls as directed by team coordinators
• Rectify faults on first visit when possible
• Carry out preventative maintenance visits
• Collect and record site configuration information
• Maintain accurate and timely records
• Provide out-of-hours cover on rotation
• Commission small projects
• Ensure audits of quality procedures are carried out
• Provide training to customers and colleagues
• Perform additional required tasks
