Remote Fire & Security Engineer Job in West Midlands, UK G4S

Who you are

• Previous experience in installing & servicing access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems.
• Knowledge in fire alarm systems, ideally GENT based.
• IT or Electrical/Electronic qualification required.
• Broad technical IT knowledge.
• Understanding of basic electrical principles.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain professionalism.

What the job involves

• Attend to maintenance calls on-site or via telephone.
• Rectify faults on the first visit where possible.
• Carry out preventative maintenance visits and record site configuration.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Provide technical training to customers and team members.
• Participate in a rotating out-of-hours cover.
• Commission small projects and ensure quality audits.
