Requirements
- Experience installing and servicing access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems
- Experience with fire alarm systems, ideally GENT based
- IT qualification and/or Electrical/Electronic qualification
- Broad technical IT knowledge, e.g., Windows OS, networking
- Knowledge of basic electrical principles like measuring voltage and current drain
- Good attention to detail for accurate paperwork and procedure compliance
- Enthusiastic team player
- Work well under pressure and maintain professional approach
- Comfortable with irregular hours and 24/7 call rota
Day to day
- Attend to calls for maintenance as directed by team coordinators
- Rectify all faults on the first visit where rectification is within your control
- Carry out rolling programme of preventative maintenance visits
- Collection and recording of site configuration information
- Maintain accurate and timely records
- Provide cover on an out of hour’s basis on a rotating basis
- Commission small projects when required
- Ensure audits are carried out of quality procedures
- Provide training to customers and colleagues as required
- Carry out additional tasks as necessary
