Remote Fire & Security Systems Engineer Job in Exeter, UK G4S

Who you are

• Previous electro mechanical experience
• 5+ years in installing & servicing access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems
• Experience with GENT-based fire alarm systems
• IT or Electrical/Electronic qualification
• Broad technical IT knowledge including Windows OS and networking
• Knowledge of basic electrical principles
• Good attention to detail for paperwork and procedures
• Team player with ability to work under pressure professionally

What the job involves

• Attend to maintenance calls as directed by team coordinators
• Rectify faults on the first visit if possible
• Conduct preventative maintenance visits
• Collect and record site configuration information
• Maintain car stock levels and accurate records
• Provide out-of-hours cover on a rotating basis
• Commission small projects as required
• Ensure quality procedures are audited
• Provide training to customers and colleagues
• Carry out additional tasks as required
