Who you are

• Experience in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering in heavy goods / plant machinery / automotive
• Full UK driving license
• City and Guilds in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering related field
• Diagnostic computer skills
• Qualified in related field or similar years’ experience
• Able to work unsupervised as required
• Completion of documentation to company standards
• Achieve agreed targets, i.e., response time

Desirables

• Experience in Electrical drive and control systems
• Diesel and LPG engines
• Common drive-trains
• Hydraulics

What the job involves

• We are recruiting for an Mechanical Handling Field Service Engineer to join our East Field Service Engineers. The position is full time, and we would love you to work within our Service Department to maintain, repair, service and modify a range of other material handling equipment. Because we are independent every challenge is new and different, and we would really welcome your help.
• Services, maintaining and overhaul, fault find and resolve on a range of material handling products.
• Respond to breakdowns, liaise with our parts team, and ensure appropriate stock levels are held on the company vehicle.
