Requirements
- Hands-on experience designing industrial control panels that passed UL508A listing inspection
- Proficiency in EPLAN or another database-driven ECAD platform
- Ability to independently produce complete buildable design packages from customer requirements
- Comfort with 480VAC power distribution and low-voltage control circuits
Nice to have
- UL698A familiarity
- Allen-Bradley Siemens ABB Eaton familiarity
- Panel shop experience
- Systems integrator experience
- OEM experience
Day to day
- Own the electrical design function for industrial control panels from first concept through build-ready release
- Translate customer specifications and single-line diagrams into complete code-compliant schematics layouts and BOMs
- Develop macros and templates in EPLAN to increase engineering throughput and support fast scaling
- Work directly with customers to resolve design questions and produce accurate quotes engineering hours estimates and BOM costs
