Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in the tax and accounting industry (as a licensee, writer, instructor, trainer, education director, course developer, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferably in English, journalism, communications, law, or tax and accounting; professional degree or professional designation helpful
- Ability to meet deadlines
- 7+ years' experience in creating and developing online or text-based continuing education materials for professionals and adult learners is recommended
- 7+ years' experience in substantive content editing and writing is recommended

Day to day
- Research and write engaging online continuing education instructional content designed to educate and train tax and accounting professionals, using a casual professional tone and writing style
- Explain complex tax and accounting topics in ways that are understandable and applicable to adult students
- Create interactive exercises, videos, quizzes, infographics, and case studies that are informative and enhance learning and retention
- Design content to meet tax and accounting course objectives, regulatory requirements, and student expectations as defined by a WebCE Content Director
- Write assessment questions that fairly test a user's grasp of course content
- Use WebCE's course templates and style guides
