Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Platform Engineer Infrastructure Automation Specialist or DevOps Engineer
- Extensive scripting or programming experience for IT infrastructure automation including Python Bash PowerShell Ansible or Rundeck
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform CloudFormation or CDK
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud services including AWS EC2 RDS ECS ELB Lambda and Nutanix
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a strong plus
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Linux system administration is a strong plus

Day to day
- Design and deploy robust cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Nutanix with a strong focus on availability scalability and security
- Develop REST APIs automation workflows and configuration management scripts to accelerate infrastructure deployment and operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to modernise legacy systems improve cloud performance and build a secure cohesive IT ecosystem
