- A Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in any subject
- Expert knowledge of the English language
- Experience in editing, translating, or publishing scholarly content
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- High attention to detail
- Experience working remotely in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of an international team
- Access to the most recent version of MS Word and antivirus software
What the job involves
- Edit scholarly articles submitted to MDPI journals to a publication-ready standard
- Apply knowledge of the English language and the context of the manuscript to make the English clear, consistent, and grammatically correct, communicating the author’s message without changing their voice unnecessarily
- Ensure manuscripts align with MDPI’s house rules
- Effectively meet tight deadlines
