Who you are

• 5+ years of professional software development
• Expert at building web applications with HTML, CSS, and a JavaScript framework like React.js, AngularJS, or Backbone.js
• Implemented server-side APIs in Ruby
• Worked with document and relational data stores especially Mongo and MySQL
• Experience with datasets in Redshift or Presto/Trino
• Deep understanding of usability issues
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment

What the job involves

• Build and own systems, products, and customer-facing experiences for growth. Partner with engineers and scientists to create scalable, ML-driven systems and surface insights. Create web surfaces and interactive dashboards using React, JavaScript, CSS, and GraphQL.
• Scope, design, and lead technical projects to evolve and scale early-stage products. Ensure UI components and libraries are reliable, secure, and accessible. Debug production issues and improve maintainability.
• Interact with product and business leaders to execute a data-first growth strategy. Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes. Foster a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts.
