About Eftsure

Eftsure is a fast-scaling SaaS fraud prevention technology company protecting businesses from B2B payment fraud through real-time vendor verification and payment protection.

As cybercrime and payment fraud continue to evolve, Eftsure provides businesses with a critical control designed to help ensure they never pay the wrong people.

As we continue to scale across the United States, APAC and Europe, we're looking for an experienced General Counsel to lead our global legal, risk and compliance functions and help Eftsure navigate the opportunities and complexities that come with international growth.

About The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, our General Counsel will be Eftsure's senior legal leader globally, providing strategic advice to the CEO, Board and Executive Leadership Team while overseeing Legal, Risk and Compliance across the US, APAC and Europe.

This is a broad, highly commercial leadership role. You'll advise the business across corporate and commercial law, technology contracts, sales and partnership opportunities, privacy and data protection, employment law, intellectual property, governance and regulatory matters.

A significant part of the role will be ensuring Eftsure can continue to scale globally while maintaining strong legal, privacy, cybersecurity and regulatory frameworks. We're therefore looking for someone with strong, hands-on experience advising on US data privacy and protection law, including CCPA/CPRA, as well as experience navigating privacy requirements across other international jurisdictions.

You'll need to be equally comfortable advising the Board on an emerging regulatory issue, negotiating a complex commercial agreement and helping teams understand how to manage legal risk without unnecessarily slowing the business down.

The Kind Of Leader Who Will Thrive Here

You're commercially minded and understand that great in-house legal advice isn't simply about identifying risk – it's about helping the business understand that risk and make informed decisions.

You have the judgement and credibility to influence at Board and Executive level, but you're also comfortable getting into the detail when required. You can simplify complex issues, anticipate legal and regulatory risks before they arise and balance legal rigour with the pace of a scaling technology company.

You'll be comfortable working autonomously, leading teams across multiple regions and partnering with leaders across GTM, Finance, Product, Technology and People & Culture.

Why Eftsure?

This is an opportunity to take on a genuinely global General Counsel mandate at an important stage of Eftsure's growth.

You'll have direct access to the CEO and Board, lead legal, risk and compliance strategy across multiple international markets, and play a critical role in building the frameworks and capability that allow Eftsure to scale with confidence.

If you're an experienced legal leader who combines legal rigour, commercial judgement and deep data privacy expertise, we'd love to hear from you.
