Requirements
- Substantial experience building or operating as a sole or near-sole in-house legal function
- Strong commercial contracting experience with sophisticated enterprise customers

- Solid grounding in IP including trade secrets invention assignment patent strategy and open source
- Knowledge of export controls data privacy safety and related regulatory issues

Day to day
- Build and lead the company's in-house legal function from the ground up, creating scalable contracts processes playbooks and workflows.
- Own complex enterprise contracting and negotiate creative risk-calibrated agreements that move customers from pilot to production.
- Support fundraising and governance work including diligence corporate housekeeping cap table hygiene board matters and employment IP and compliance issues across a fast-growing deep tech company.
