Requirements
- Proficiency in using accounting software, with a preference for experience with Intacct, Coupa, Concur, or other ERP systems like Netsuite, Oracle or SAP ERP
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent field
- Basic knowledge of general ledger accounting best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify financial discrepancies and propose solutions
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks thoroughly
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven track record of successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Advanced proficiency in using GSuite and MS Office Applications
- Be a team player
- Be willing to help out in all areas of the general ledger
Nice to have

- Minimum of three (1) years of experience in general ledger accounting or related roles
Day to day
- Playing a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial planning, regulatory compliance, and adherence to best practices in general ledger accounting.
- Collaborating closely with the accounting manager and various departments.
- Preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and contributing to financial stability and success.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Preparing comprehensive account reconciliations and schedules for all areas of the general ledger.
- Conducting flux analysis for assigned accounts to identify trends and anomalies.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure the accuracy and completeness of operating expense data.
- Assisting in responding to external audit requests and preparing PBC (Provided by Client) items for year-end audits.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to review and determine actions to improve accounting processes for failed customer payments.
- Participating in ad-hoc accounting and finance projects to support company initiatives.
