Position OverviewWe are partnering with a leading semiconductor manufacturer to identify an experienced Interim Global Accounts Payable Lead to oversee and stabilize global AP operations during a critical growth phase. This hands-on leadership role will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounts payable activities across multiple domestic and international entities, supporting high-volume manufacturing operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.The ideal candidate brings deep experience leading AP functions within complex manufacturing environments, preferably semiconductor, electronics, or other high-volume supply chain-driven industries. This individual must be comfortable operating both strategically and tactically, while partnering closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Treasury, and Corporate Accounting teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead global accounts payable operations across multiple business units and international entities.Manage month-end close activities related to AP, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.Ensure timely and accurate processing of high-volume supplier invoices, employee expenses, ACH, wire, and international payments.Drive AP process improvements, automation initiatives, and internal control enhancements.Partner closely with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to improve purchase order, receiving, and invoice matching processes.Oversee vendor master management, payment controls, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Manage and support AP staff across multiple locations and time zones.Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions to support manufacturing growth and increased transaction volume.Support internal and external audits, SOX compliance activities, and documentation of AP policies and procedures.Collaborate with Treasury to optimize cash flow planning and payment strategies.Participate in ERP and AP automation projects, including process redesign, testing, training, and implementation activities.Establish and monitor KPIs related to invoice processing, payment accuracy, cycle times, and vendor satisfaction.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.8+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience, including leadership responsibilities.Significant experience supporting manufacturing environments, ideally within semiconductor, electronics, technology hardware, or advanced manufacturing organizations.Proven experience managing AP functions across multiple entities and international operations.Strong understanding of three-way matching, inventory transactions, procurement workflows, and manufacturing costing environments.Experience operating within SOX-compliant organizations and maintaining strong internal controls.Demonstrated success leading AP transformation, process improvement, or ERP implementation initiatives.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.Experience with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
