Remote Global Litigation and Compliance Counsel Job in United States Genesys

Who you are

• Possess a law degree from accredited law school and member in good standing in any US State or Territory bar.
• Minimum of 10 years legal experience from private practice and in-house roles.
• Substantial litigation experience with a government agency, top-rated law firm or major high technology company.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, able to work cross functionally.
• Experience in international business development, privacy, and regulatory compliance matters.
• Proficient knowledge of legal issues specific to the high technology industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge to navigate complex legal and regulatory compliance issues.
• Positive, problem-solving, business-focused attitude with good judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, self-start, work independently.
• Ability to work on complex matters with minimal supervision.

What the job involves

• Manage the Company’s global litigation docket and develop and enhance compliance program.
• Provide strategic and legal advice to internal business partners, working closely with various business teams in pre-litigation disputes, adversarial matters, through trial and appeal.
• Provide day-to-day advice to assist the Company in managing and mitigating legal risks, collaborating with different teams and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws.
