Remote Group Engineering Manager Job in Redmond, WA Microsoft

Who you are

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience operating online services
• 6+ years of people management experience in Big Tech (Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, Apple, Google)
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

What the job involves

• Oversee software engineering development for corporate identity systems within the Microsoft Digital Security & Resilience (DSR) team
• Ensure the security of every aspect of the business as a steward of Microsoft and our customer's data
• Responsible for company-wide information security and compliance with a strategic focus on information protection, assessment, awareness, governance, and enterprise business continuity
