What the job involves

• Responsible for direct and indirect tax operations for the Convatec group comprising businesses located in over 100 countries
• Lead and manage the group tax reporting process along with developing in-house talent and supporting external advisors with global tax compliance
• Play a critical role in the transformation and implementation of a future-focused tax operating model and support ad-hoc projects with business units
• Opportunities to further develop a tax career across a variety of areas in a FTSE 100 HQ environment
• Lead the outsourced global compliance processes for direct and indirect tax
• Drive transformation and change across the group’s tax operations supporting the training and development of centralised in-house GBS resources
• Efficiently review and analyze group tax provision reporting in Longview as prepared by GBS
• Support the forecasting of ETR and cash taxes while effectively communicating with colleagues
• Provide input in process improvement opportunities and support the implementation of new processes and tools for tax reporting compliance and forecasting
• Stay up to date on global tax laws rules and regulations and accounting pronouncements which may impact the Group
