Requirements

  • Experience with embedded system hardware including network SoCs switches PHYs SerDes PCIe XAUI SGMII and DDR
  • Experience programming boot devices such as flash and EEPROMs
  • Working knowledge of peripherals including NAND eMMC SPI SDIO HS USB GE Serial I2C and SPI
  • Experience debugging with protocol analyzers and Ethernet traffic generators or testers
  • Strong Ethernet networking background including TSN AVB IEEE 1588 TCP/IP UDP ARP DHCP and ICMP
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer issues under pressure
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or equivalent technical education
  • 6-9 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Day to day

  • Serve as the technical lead for Marvell switching PHY and processor SoC products with a strong focus on hardware integration and support.
  • Act as a resident expert for customers by troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues in collaboration with field application engineers and Marvell teams.
  • Replicate customer problems in a lab environment review schematics and resolve boot sequencing and low-level debug issues to deliver effective solutions.
