Remote Hardware Engineer Sr. Job in Colorado Springs, CO Lockheed Martin

Who you are

• Experience with hardware design and documentation
• Experience building/terminating Fiber Optic cables and copper
• Experience with integration and system troubleshooting
• Ability to travel locally (up to 10%)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Current SECRET security clearance required
• Typically has 5 years of professional experience and a BS degree or above
• Ability to operate spectrum analyzers, firebird test sets, oscilloscope, and general electronic test equipment
• Knowledge of electronic theory, networking techniques, telecommunications systems, and system level troubleshooting methods
• Proficient in troubleshooting system level problems with networked data processing systems
• Experience in local and wide area network troubleshooting
• Ability to utilize hand tools to work on mechanical assemblies such as antenna motors
• DOD 8570 Compliance (security +, etc...)
• COMSEC/Crypto experience (KIV, KS-252, e.g.)
• Experience operating or maintaining VoIP systems

What the job involves

• Providing onsite engineering support to a classified system used for defense communications
• Perform system analysis and problem resolution for ground systems
• Handle configuration management, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation
• Perform device configuration and crypto device support
• Respond to trouble tickets and other assigned duties
