Requirements
- Install and upgrade Varian products
- Troubleshoot and manage technical issues and support your teammates
- Carry out customer acceptance tests and train customers in basic operation of the Varian products
- Attend assigned Varian product trainings and maintain a high degree of professional knowledge
- Report regularly using the Varian reporting tools
- Independent planning and booking of business trips as well as the settlement of travel expenses
- Willingness for extensive travel (70% / Duration of each trip: approx. 2-4 weeks)
- Mainly within UK and Europe, once in a while globally
Nice to have
- Strong system level understanding and troubleshooting skills
- Strong computer skills
- Sound knowledge of processes and methods to use electronic testing equipment
- Able to work independently as well as a part of a team
- Dedicated, pragmatic and result-oriented approach
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
Day to day
- You will be responsible for on-site installation and upgrades of medical linear accelerators and associated equipment.
- You will have the opportunity to travel to many different countries in the European area for several weeks at a time.
- You will be responsible for your own working timetable and providing customers the exceptional level of service that they expect from Varian.
