Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in Data Science Computer Science Information Systems Mathematics Statistics or related discipline
- Proven experience leading data engineering analytics or data platform functions in a commercial environment ideally retail
- Experienced leader able to motivate and develop teams
- Ability to define and communicate a data vision and strategy
- Strong knowledge of Azure Synapse SQL DWH and Power BI
- Excellent communication skills with commercial technology and executive stakeholders
- Experience enabling self-serve BI
- Track record of delivery oversight in agile or iterative environments
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Commercial acumen to align data decisions with business outcomes
- Cloud and integration expertise including Azure Data Lake Fabric ADF Databricks or Logic Apps

Day to day
- Lead the vision strategy architecture governance and delivery of data services across the business.
