What the job involves

• Oversee the engineering function at our organization to build useful fast scalable product
• Have ownership over growing the engineering team from the ground up be responsible for hiring and evaluating candidates and the engineering recruiting funnel
• Be an active voice in product discussions and help translate product priorities to engineering priorities
• Be a key member of the leadership team and work closely with the co-founders and heads of other departments
• Help produce clearer engineering levels and growth paths and mentor other engineers
