• Degree in Computer Science or similar, preferably to MSc level

• Desirable: Experience in the logistics sector

What the job involves

• Lead the engineering function and play a key role in building out the software platform
• Manage and mentor the engineering team to create a strong engineering culture
• Own deliverable timelines for development and deployment of engineering work
• Oversee daily engineering operations and refine development efforts
• Manage the engineering team, coach and grow individuals, and complete performance reviews
• Contribute to technology deliverables as a hands-on Leader, troubleshoot, and guide the team
• Create and implement engineering practices and processes for efficiency
• Set vision, strategy, and roadmap for technology at Zedify
• Develop and monitor Engineering OKRs and budgets for technological performance
• Identify competitive advantages and technological trends for company benefit
• Interface with 3rd party providers for IT compliance requirements and GDPR regulations
• Define and present engineering vision and performance to the CEO, exec team, wider business, and board of directors
