Requirements

  • First or early in-house lawyer at a high-growth tech company or senior commercial counsel ready to own a function
  • Deep commercial contracting experience with enterprise usage-based and data-heavy deals
  • Fluent in privacy and data protection including GDPR CCPA/CPRA and ideally HIPAA
  • Builder and operator comfortable as a team of one writing playbooks and saying yes with guardrails

Day to day

  • Own commercial contracting end to end including customer MSAs order forms DPAs BAAs vendor agreements and NDAs.
  • Stand up and run the privacy and data-protection program for a real-time voice and media platform.
  • Partner closely with Sales Finance Product and Engineering to help deals close and products ship quickly and safely.
  • Own corporate governance equity mechanics and entity hygiene while managing outside counsel carefully.
