Requirements
- 4+ years experience as a qualified lawyer or in a contracts legal ops or commercial manager role with negotiation authority
- Experience in a scaling company environment with changing priorities and limited resources
- Strong grasp of SaaS commercial terms including MSAs order forms DPAs NDAs red lines and liability caps
- Hands on UK and EU GDPR experience including DPAs DPIAs DSARs sub processors records of processing and international transfers
- Breadth to own legal end to end across commercial contracting data protection and product legal
- Bias toward finding the defensible yes and containing risk
- Comfort making independent decisions and escalating only genuine trade offs
- Technically adept and quick to learn new tools

Day to day
- Own commercial contracting end to end, including MSAs, DPAs, customer red lines, and deal closeout
- Turn around a high volume of contract reviews at pace while setting a clear legal SLA for sales
- Build playbooks templates and fallback positions that help AEs self serve common legal questions
- Partner with Product and Engineering on regulatory compliance for AI assisted hiring and background screening features
- Lead data protection governance audit readiness and due diligence cleanup across the business
